G15 Warns APC of Potential Loss in Kwara State Elections

The G15 faction of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has issued a warning regarding the potential loss of Kwara State in the upcoming elections due to unresolved disagreements stemming from recent primary elections. In a statement made in Ilorin, the group emphasized that failing to address these issues amicably would be a grave political mistake for the APC.

They declared that without the G15's support, the party cannot secure victory in Kwara. The faction urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to work with the National Working Committee (NWC) to resolve the disputes, warning that inaction would amount to political suicide for the APC.

The G15 is described as a formidable coalition of high-profile political leaders who have a proven track record of delivering electoral victories. The group specifically mentioned that the APC's standing in Kwara Central is at risk, citing Yahaya Seriki Gambari, who served as the Director General of the governorship campaign council for the 2019 and 2023 elections.
