PDP Candidate Aondoakaa Condemns Killings in Benue State

Michael Aondoakaa, the PDP governorship candidate for Benue State in 2027, condemned the recent wave of killings in the state, which he described as unacceptable. Aondoakaa's statement, issued through his media assistant James Ian in Makurdi on Wednesday, highlighted the tragic loss of lives and the displacement of thousands due to these attacks.

He specifically referenced the recent killings in Mbajir Ward, Katsina-Ala LGA, and criticized the chairman of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, Alhaji Ardo Muhammad, for his comments on the incidents. Aondoakaa expressed deep sorrow over the massacres and called for urgent action from security agencies to apprehend the perpetrators.

He emphasized the need for the Benue State government to take proactive measures to protect its citizens, especially given the resources available following the removal of fuel subsidies.
