Ezza Ezekuna Association Declares Governorship Seat Stays

The Ezza Ezekuna Development Association has asserted that the governorship seat in Ebonyi State must remain in the Ebonyi North senatorial zone until 2031. This declaration was made in response to a recent communiqué from the Umuekumenyi Leader Council, which supports a candidate from the Ebonyi South senatorial zone, Ifeanychukwuma Odi, of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The Ezza Ezekuna Development Association, represented by Chief Kingslei Akam, Comrade Uchechukwu Edeh, and Professor Chike Emmanuel Onw, emphasized that the Umuekumenyi Leader Council lacks legal standing and is not registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission. They argued that the council's claims do not represent the Ezza people and are driven by individual political agendas.

The association firmly believes in justice, fairness, and political stability, insisting that the governorship seat should remain in the Ebonyi North zone until the completion of its two tenures.
