Adebayo Responds to Datti's Critique of Candidates

Adewole Adebayo, the presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), stated that Datti Baba-Ahmed, the former vice-presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), cannot categorize him among presidential candidates who lack the ability to improve Nigeria. This statement came after Baba-Ahmed expressed during an interview on MIC ON Podcast that none of President Bola Tinubu’s challengers, including Peter Obi, possess the capability to transform the country.

Baba-Ahmed advised Tinubu to prepare to hand over power, asserting that the opposition figures have previously collaborated and thus cannot be trusted to bring about change. In response, Adebayo, during an interview on Arise Television, suggested that Baba-Ahmed's views may be influenced by his personal experiences with certain politicians, particularly Peter Obi.

Adebayo emphasized that Baba-Ahmed should limit his assessments to those he has worked with and cannot extend them to candidates like himself, whom he has not interacted with.
