Isaac Balami Joins City Boy Movement Ahead of 2027 Elections

Isaac Balami has been appointed to the executive board of the City Boy Movement as its National Director on Special Duty, following his departure from the Obidient Movement. The appointment was confirmed by the movement's Director-General, Hon. Francis Oluwatosin Shoga, and National Secretary, Hon. Tosin Odufuwa, with Seyi Tinubu also acknowledging the development.

Balami's role is crucial as the executive board is the highest decision-making body of the City Boy Movement, which aims to set strategic directions and oversee operations in preparation for Nigeria's 2027 general elections. His appointment is notable as he is recognized as the first Christian from Northern Nigeria on the board, potentially enhancing the movement's representation of Nigeria's diverse demographics.

Balami previously served as Deputy Campaign Manager for the Obi/Datti campaign during the 2023 elections and has been active in mobilizing support groups towards the All Progressives Congress (APC). His new position is expected to bolster President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's campaign efforts, especially in the North and Middle Belt regions.
