Ex-Governors Mobilize Grassroots Support for Tinubu's 2027 Presidential Bid in Nigeria

Former governors Idri Wada and Sunday Karimi are actively mobilizing grassroots support for Bola Ahmed Tinubu's potential 2027 presidential candidacy in Nigeria. The Kogi People's Support Forum, chaired by Wada, was inaugurated to galvanize grassroots backing for Tinubu within the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The forum aims to unify party members across states, emphasizing inclusivity and collective efforts to strengthen the party and deepen democratic participation. The forum's leadership stressed the importance of supporting Tinubu's reform agenda and ensuring electoral success in the upcoming presidential election.

Additionally, Dr. Kashim Akor highlighted the need for addressing grievances within the party to maintain unity and focus on consolidating gains at the grassroots level.

Abutu Yaro, a retired Assistant Inspector General of Police, urged APC members to participate in the ongoing registration exercise and support leaders chosen to represent the party effectively.
