NDC Candidate Abbas Challenges Uba Sani to Debate

Barrister Mohammed Sani Abbas, the governorship candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) for the 2027 election in Kaduna State, has publicly challenged Governor Uba Sani and other candidates to engage in a debate. Abbas expressed his readiness to debate at any venue, emphasizing that such discussions would allow candidates to present their programs and enable voters to assess their options.

He highlighted the urgent need to address poverty and economic hardship in Nigeria, attributing these issues to mismanagement and poor governance. Abbas's campaign will focus on grassroots mobilization, including door-to-door engagements, and will pose the question to voters: “Are you better today than you were four years ago?” He expressed confidence in the NDC's ticket, stating that he and his running mate, Joktan Suleiman Sabo, offer a credible alternative.

Abbas also called for unity among party members and extended an invitation to former aspirant Senator Danjuma La’ah to collaborate with the NDC, which he described as a credible alternative in Kaduna State.
