Ganduje Affirms Loyalty to APC, Dismisses Defection Rumors

Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the former governor of Kano State and current national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has publicly dismissed rumors regarding his defection to the New Democratic Congress (NDC).

In a statement issued on Friday in Abuja, Ganduje described the circulating posters alleging his defection as false and a product of political mischief aimed at misleading the public and creating confusion among APC members. He emphasized his unwavering commitment to the APC and its leadership under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, asserting that the party remains Nigeria's largest and most formidable political organization.

Ganduje condemned the actions of those spreading the rumors as desperate attempts to tarnish his reputation and create unnecessary anxiety within the party. He warned that unless the defamatory materials are withdrawn, appropriate legal action would be pursued against the perpetrators.

Ganduje urged APC members and the general public to disregard the misleading posters and reaffirmed his dedication to strengthening the party's agenda for the future.
