Kogi Sets N150M Campaign Fee for Presidential Candidates
The Kogi State Government has established official fees for campaign signage and materials ahead of the 2027 general elections and the October 2026 local government elections. Hon. Candidates for the House of Representatives will incur a fee of N30 million, and those contesting for the state House of Assembly will pay N5 million. For local government elections, chairmanship candidates will pay N2 million, and councillorship candidates will pay N300,000.
The fee structure was determined after a peer review of similar fees in other states.
