El-Rufai Supports Son's APC Membership Amid Criticism

Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, the former governor of Kaduna State, expressed that his son, Moham Bello, is free to continue his membership in the All Progressives Congress (APC) despite facing criticism for his political choices. El-Rufai made these remarks during an appearance on BBC Hausa Service on Thursday, following an alleged incident involving the Department of State Services (DSS) attempting to detain Nnamdi Azikiwe at the international airport upon his return from Egypt.

El-Rufai highlighted that his son, who represents the Kaduna North Federal Constituency in the 10th House of Representatives, is an adult and capable of making his own political decisions. He stated that Bello's choice to remain in the APC does not contradict El-Rufai's own opposition to the party's wrongdoings.

El-Rufai affirmed his pride in his son's ability to make independent choices regarding his political affiliations.
