Yobe APC Candidate Baba Malam Wali Begins Royal Tour

Alhaji Baba Malam Wali, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for Yobe State, has initiated a royal tour of the state's 14 emirates as part of his campaign for the 2027 elections. The tour commenced at the palace of the Emir of Damaturu, Alhaji Shehu Hashimi II Ibn Umar Alamin Elkanemi, and included visits to the Emirs of Ngazargamu and Gujba.

Wali was accompanied by a high-powered delegation, including APC state Chairman Alhaji Mohammed Gadaka, deputy governorship candidate Barrister Saleh Samanja, lawmakers, commissioners, and party stakeholders. During his addresses, Wali framed his candidacy as a collective victory, attributing it to the support of Governor Mai Mala Buni, Minister of Police Affairs Senator Ibrahim Geidam, and other key party figures.

He sought the traditional rulers' blessings and prayers, expressing confidence in a successful electoral outcome with their support. The Emirs assured Wali of their prayers for a peaceful electoral process and success for all candidates.

The ongoing tour underscores the collaboration between political leadership and traditional institutions in Yobe State.
