Gombe PDP Aspirant Withdraws Case, Endorses Pantami

Monica Yahaya Kaltho, a gubernatorial aspirant for the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Gombe State, has officially withdrawn her court case regarding grievances over the party's primary election outcomes. She made this decision after consulting with PDP leaders, particularly Senator Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo, whom she regards as a father figure.

Kaltho reaffirmed her total support for the PDP's gubernatorial candidate, Professor Isa Ali Pantami, pledging to work tirelessly for victory in the 2027 Gombe State governorship election. Professor Pantami expressed gratitude for Kaltho's decision, emphasizing her importance as a stakeholder in the party's journey ahead.

Additionally, two prominent politicians, Kelmi Lazaru and B. Sani, have joined Pantami's campaign, with Lazaru defecting from the SDP to support Pantami, citing his leadership qualities and vision for Gombe State's development.

The PDP welcomed these developments as a boost to their support base in the state.
