Gombe PDP Aspirant Monica Kaltho Backs Pantami for 2027

Monica Yahaya Kaltho, a former gubernatorial aspirant for the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Gombe State, has officially withdrawn her lawsuit that challenged the party's gubernatorial primary. She announced her decision on Saturday, expressing her support for the PDP's gubernatorial candidate, Prof. Isa Pantami, in the lead-up to the 2027 elections.

Kaltho's decision came after consultations with PDP leaders, including former Governor Ibrahim Dankwambo, whom she regards as a father figure and whose counsel she deeply values. She emphasized the importance of party unity and expressed her commitment to the collective goals of the PDP, aiming for success in the upcoming elections.

Kaltho's withdrawal of the legal action was welcomed by Pantami, who visited her residence to express gratitude and pledge collaboration with stakeholders as they prepare for the 2027 gubernatorial elections.
