PDP's Pantami Vows to Combat Electoral Malpractice in Gombe

On Wednesday, Prof. Isa Ali Pantami, the gubernatorial candidate for the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Gombe State, issued a strong warning against electoral malpractice.

Speaking during a stakeholder engagement in Nafada LGA, he emphasized that the PDP will not condone any form of electoral manipulation. Pantami assured party members that the upcoming elections would be fair, stating that the votes cast by the people will count.

He criticized the current administration led by Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for allegedly impoverishing the populace and handling government contracts in a manner that benefits only a select few. Pantami called on the people to stand firm against any intimidation and to ensure that the All Progressives Congress (APC) administration is unseated through legitimate electoral processes in the 2027 general elections.

He expressed confidence in the support the PDP is gathering as they prepare for the elections.
