NAHCON Sets September 26 Deadline for 2027 Hajj Registration

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has reiterated the September 26 deadline for intending pilgrims to finalize their registration and payment processes for the 2027 Hajj. This reminder was issued to ensure compliance with timelines set by Saudi authorities for the organization of the pilgrimage.

NAHCON emphasized the importance of early data submission and digital processing due to changes in Saudi Arabia’s Hajj preparations. Pilgrims are required to upload their biometric data on the Saudi-approved Nusuk-Masar digital platform by the deadline to avoid forfeiture of allocated Hajj slots.

The commission previously announced that pilgrims from Maiduguri and Yola would pay N7,560,822, while those from the northern zone would pay N7,672,822, and pilgrims from the southern zone would pay N7,882,822. These fares were determined after consultations with state pilgrims’ welfare boards and service providers in Saudi Arabia, considering prevailing exchange rates and service costs.
