NAHCON Sets September 26 Deadline for 2027 Hajj Registration

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has issued a reminder to intending pilgrims to finalize their payment and registration for the 2027 Hajj by the September 26 deadline, aligning with Saudi Arabian authorities' timelines. This deadline is critical due to new Saudi regulations emphasizing early data submission and digital systems.

NAHCON confirmed that pilgrims must upload their biometric data onto the Saudi-approved Nusuk-Masar digital platform by this date to avoid losing their allocated Hajj slots. Fare costs vary by departure zone, with prices set at ₦7,560,822 for Yola, ₦7,672,822 for the northern zone, and ₦7,882,822 for the southern zone.

Pilgrims who have already deposited ₦5 million must pay the remaining balance to complete their registration. Additionally, December 2 has been established as the deadline for states to remit all 2027 Hajj fares, with no extensions allowed.

NAHCON Chairman Ismail Yusuf stated that Nigeria has been allocated approximately 50,000 slots for the pilgrimage, with preparations beginning shortly after the 2026 Hajj.
