Kano Sets September 25 Deadline for 2027 Hajj Registration

The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board has announced that September 25 is the final deadline for payment of Hajj deposits and registration for the 2027 pilgrimage. Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim-Matawalle, the Director-General of the board, emphasized that no intending pilgrim will be allocated a seat after this date.

The deposit for the pilgrimage has been set at N8 million. Ibrahim-Matawalle urged all prospective pilgrims to complete their payments and registration before the deadline to secure their places.

He stated that the board would not extend the registration period or allocate seats to those who fail to meet the September 25 deadline, highlighting the importance of this deadline for effective planning and coordination for the upcoming Hajj exercise. The Director-General reaffirmed the board's commitment to ensuring a smooth, transparent, and hitch-free pilgrimage operation and advised intending pilgrims to comply with all registration requirements within the stipulated period.
