Bwala Critiques Obi's Koinonia Visit Amid Political Struggles

Daniel Bwala, the Special Adviser on Policy Communication to President Bola Tinubu, mocked Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC), following Obi's visit to Koinonia Global and Eternity Network International. During his address to the congregation, Obi stated that politicians are to blame for Nigeria's problems, asserting that the country itself is not at fault.

He urged prayers for politicians to cease corrupt practices. Bwala responded via a post on his 𝕏 handle, suggesting that Obi was seeking a new supporter in Apostle Joshua Selman, as those who previously supported him during the 2022-2023 campaign had abandoned him.

Bwala characterized Obi as having been reduced to a mere "effigy of content creation," criticizing his approach to campaigning by blending spiritual discussions with political messaging.
