Adeleke Stands Firm on Tinubu Endorsement for 2027

Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has confirmed that his endorsement of President Bola Tinubu for the 2027 presidential election remains firm, stating he will not retract his support. This declaration was made in Osogbo during a courtesy visit from Ajibola Basiru, the National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, and other prominent party members.

Adeleke recounted his commitment to support Tinubu’s candidates for key National Assembly positions, highlighting a conversation with the Chief of Staff regarding the endorsement of Senator Godswill Akpabio and Tajudeen Abass. He noted that despite initial skepticism about his endorsement, he successfully rallied support from Osun State legislators for Tinubu’s choices.

Adeleke also called for unity among stakeholders in Osun to foster state development. Basiru projected that Tinubu could secure up to 1.5 million votes in Osun State in the upcoming general election, aided by collaboration between the ruling Accord and the APC.
