INEC Zamfara Reaffirms Commitment to Credible 2027 Elections

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Zamfara State, led by Dr. Mahmud Isah, reiterated its dedication to ensuring transparent and fair elections for the 2027 general elections.

Stakeholders, including political parties like APC, PDP, ADC, PRP, SDP, and NNPP, attended a meeting where the importance of voter registration and collective efforts for credible elections were stressed. INEC announced the resumption of the second phase of the voter registration exercise, both online and physically, starting from January 5, 2026, at local government offices in Zamfara.

The commission urged eligible Nigerians to register for their Permanent Voter Cards (PVC) to participate in the electoral process effectively.
