Ajia Launches NDC Campaign for Kwara Governorship 2027

On Wednesday, Professor Abdulmumeen Olayinka Ajia, the governorship candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) in Kwara State, officially launched his campaign for the 2027 general elections at Oja Oba, Ilorin. Ajia, a lecturer in Business Administration at Lincoln University in the US, committed to establishing effective education and healthcare systems to improve the lives of residents if elected.

He emphasized that his campaign is not for personal gain but to enhance the wellbeing of the community and create educational opportunities for children from ordinary backgrounds. Ajia criticized the People's Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC), labeling them as "beds of the same feather," and stated that his campaign would focus on service rather than attacking other candidates.

His campaign activities included engaging with traditional leaders for their blessings and visiting accident victims on Taiwo Road to offer support.
