Daura Urges Nigerians to Reject Tinubu in 2027 Elections

Lawal Daura, the vice presidential candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), has called on Nigerians to oppose President Bola Tinubu's administration, citing numerous errors that warrant his removal from office in the 2027 elections. In an appearance on Politics Today, Daura described Tinubu as amiable but urged voters to support APM's presidential candidate, Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, whom he characterized as a bridge between generations.

Daura acknowledged that while no politician is perfect and errors are common, he expressed loyalty to Makinde if they win the upcoming presidential election. He emphasized their shared passion for Nigeria and the goal of resetting the country, stating that APM is actively working to correct past mistakes.

However, he accused some current officials of incompetence and obstruction, hindering their efforts to implement necessary changes.
