Bwala Critiques Obi as 'Miracle Centre Candidate'
Daniel Bwala, the Special Adviser on Policy Communication to President Bola Tinubu, responded to comments made by Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC). Bwala described Obi as a "miracle centre presidential candidate" during an interview.
This remark came after Obi expressed his willingness to debate with Dave Umahi, the Minister of Works, who had stated he was ready for a debate. Bwala questioned Obi's qualifications, pointing out that Obi had participated in presidential primaries and suggested that he should first qualify as a presidential candidate before engaging in debates.
Bwala's comments were made against the backdrop of Umahi's declaration and Obi's statements regarding road infrastructure. The exchange highlights the ongoing political discourse as Nigeria approaches the 2027 elections.
