NDC Candidates Submit Nomination Forms for 2027 Elections

On a recent occasion in Abuja, Danjuma Laah and Etugo Ndubuisi Ogah, candidates from the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC) for the 2027 governorship elections, submitted their nomination forms. Laah, representing Kaduna State, pledged to prioritize security, industrialization, and good governance, while also addressing the need for equitable representation among the state's diverse communities.

He emphasized the importance of restoring peace and trust among different religious groups in Kaduna. Ogah, representing Abia State, promised to transform the state's economy through industrialization and prudent management of public finances, aiming to create jobs and improve living conditions.

Both candidates stressed their commitment to inclusivity in governance and the need for equitable opportunities for all citizens, regardless of religion or ethnicity. They also highlighted the significance of addressing unemployment, particularly among the youth, through industrial initiatives.

The elections are scheduled for May 29, 2027.
