PDP Certifies Candidates for 2027 Elections in Abuja

On Wednesday, the People's Democratic Party (PDP) presented certificates to its presidential and gubernatorial candidates in Abuja, ahead of the upcoming elections. Nyesom Wike, speaking at the 109th National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting held at the PDP national headquarters, urged party members and aspirants to stop complaining and instead focus on organizing efforts to secure political power.

He emphasized that political power is not freely given but must be fought for and earned through hard work and determination. Wike also addressed the importance of unity within the party, cautioning against blaming governors and political office holders for challenges faced.

He reassured members about the issuance of access codes by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on June 26, which will allow political parties to upload their candidates for the elections. PDP National Chairman Abdulrahman Moham commended party leaders and members for their commitment to democratic leadership and urged them to work together for electoral success.
