Abia APC: No Federal Appointments for Election Losers

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abia State, led by Chairman Chijioke Chukwu, declared that any party leader who fails to win their polling unit, ward, or constituency in the upcoming 2027 elections will be ineligible for federal appointments. This announcement was made during a post-primary election reconciliation meeting held on Sunday at the APC secretariat in Umuahia.

Chukwu stated that the party would closely monitor the performance of its members and publish results from polling units, wards, and constituencies immediately after the elections to evaluate dedication. He urged unity and strategic focus to secure victories for President Bola Tinubu and all APC candidates in Abia.

Chukwu warned against compromising APC interests for other political parties, asserting that those who cannot secure their polling units should not expect ministerial positions. APC member Sam Anya mentioned that a structure is being established in Ohafia to ensure success for the party's candidates.
