Anambra APC Stakeholders Unite for 2027 Elections

Following the fallout from party primaries that fractured the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anambra State, stakeholders have decided to reconcile aggrieved members and form a united front for the 2027 general election. Dr.

Benjamin Nwoye, the National Deputy Chairman, South, and Chairman of the Fact-Finding and Reconciliation Committee, spoke at a stakeholders’ engagement in Abuja. He emphasized the committee's mandate to identify the causes of the leadership crisis, engage relevant stakeholders, and recommend measures for a peaceful resolution.

Nwoye noted that issues contributing to the crisis include the alleged removal of elected party officials and the replacement of primary election winners with those who did not participate. Additionally, he mentioned concerns over legal actions taken without following internal dispute resolution mechanisms.

The committee aims to ensure a credible and lasting resolution to restore unity within the party.
