Obasa Endorses Hamzat for Lagos Governorship Election

Mudashiru Obasa, the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, endorsed Dr Kadri Hamzat as the All Progressives Congress candidate for the Lagos governorship election. In a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Research, Media and Documentation, Mr Adeshina Oyetayo, Obasa expressed confidence in Hamzat's ability to implement the Lagos P.R.O.M.I.S.E agenda.

The manifesto, presented at the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and Creative Arts in Iganmu, Lagos, outlines priorities such as transportation, environmental resilience, housing, security, healthcare, education, and economic opportunities. Obasa described the manifesto as a practical blueprint that reflects a deep understanding of Lagos State's challenges and opportunities.

He commended Hamzat's educational background and experience, asserting that he possesses the competence and determination needed for effective leadership. The manifesto includes timelines for assessing Hamzat's performance and aims to provide a framework for accountability in governance.
