APC Endorses Dr. Obafemi Hamzat for Lagos Governorship

The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced Dr. Kadiri Obafemi Hamzat as its governorship candidate for the 2027 general elections. The party's publicity secretary, Seye Oladejo, stated that Hamzat is the best-suited candidate due to his extensive political grooming from a young age and his rise through the political ranks.

The APC emphasized that Hamzat possesses superior credentials compared to other candidates, highlighting his combination of intellectual depth, administrative competence, political maturity, and progressive conviction. His previous roles as Commissioner for Science and Technology, Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, and Deputy Governor have provided him with significant exposure to government operations.

The party asserted that Lagos State cannot afford to gamble with its future and that Hamzat's understanding of public administration is crucial for addressing the state's complex challenges.
