PDP's Dr Ifeanyi Odii Aims to Transform Ebonyi Economy

Dr Ifeanyi Chukwuma Odii, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate for the 2027 election in Ebonyi State, has committed to industrializing the state and attracting private investment. He aims to reduce reliance on monthly allocations from the Federation Account by leveraging Ebonyi's agricultural potential, solid mineral resources, and human capital.

His development plan, encapsulated in the “Anyi G’Emeya” mantra, seeks to position Ebonyi as a prime investment destination in Nigeria. Odii's agenda includes creating a business-friendly environment, developing industrial clusters, and enhancing infrastructure to draw local and foreign investors.

He proposes establishing an Economic Council to promote productivity and streamline government processes. In agriculture, he advocates for transitioning to commercial agribusiness and making 400 to 500 hectares of land available for major agricultural investors.

Odii also emphasizes youth empowerment through skills acquisition centers and support for small and medium-sized enterprises.
