OK Movement Appoints Peter Ameh as National Director General

The OK Movement has appointed High Chief Peter Ameh as its National Director General in preparation for the 2027 general elections. This announcement was made in a statement posted on the Movement's verified X handle on a Monday.

The statement expressed confidence in Ameh's extensive experience in politics, leadership, and nation-building, stating that he would provide the strategic direction necessary to strengthen the Movement and lead it towards victory. This appointment follows the earlier designation of Sam Amadi, the Director of the Abuja School of Social and Political Thought, to a role within the Movement.

The OK Movement is a political group that consists of supporters of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, and his running mate, Rabi’u Kwankwaso.
