OK Movement Appoints Muhammad Hamisu as National Secretary

The OK Movement announced the appointment of Muhammad Hamisu as its National Secretary on Wednesday, as part of its preparations for the 2027 general elections. The Movement's post on its verified X handle described Hamisu as a distinguished cybersecurity expert and a prominent member of the Kwankwasiyya Movement.

His dedication to grassroots development, inclusive governance, and national service was emphasized, marking him as a valuable addition to the leadership team. This appointment is the third recent addition to the Movement's leadership, following the appointment of Peter Ameh, a former Chairman of the Inter-Party Advisory Council, as the National Director-General.

Additionally, Sam Amadi, the Director of the Abuja School of Social and Political Thought, was named as the Head of the Advisory Council. The OK Movement is a political platform that includes supporters of Peter Obi and Rabi’u Kwankwaso, who are the presidential flagbearers of the Nigeria Democratic Congress for the upcoming elections.
