OK Movement Rejects Merger, Backs Director-General Ughulu

The OK Movement, a coalition of supporters from the Obidient Movement, Kwankwasiyya, and the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), issued a communiqué in Abuja rejecting any proposed merger with external political bodies and warning against the removal of its Director-General, Mr. John Ughulu. The group emphasized that its grassroots structure was built around Ughulu's leadership and that any externally imposed consolidation could disrupt ongoing programs and undermine their identity.

The communiqué, signed by Convener Mr. Ladipo Johnson and National Secretary Sadaatu Sani, stated that the OK Movement would remain independent while being open to collaboration with like-minded groups. They warned that removing Ughulu could lead to the collapse of their grassroots structure, as loyalty lies with him rather than any title.

Additionally, the leadership invited Ms. Jacky Wayas to return as Director for Strategic Implementation and Planning under Ughulu’s leadership.
