Ondo Governor Aiyedatiwa Backs Tinubu for 2027 Election

Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa announced that the state will provide overwhelming support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's re-election bid in the 2027 presidential election. This declaration was made on Tuesday in Akure during the distribution of food and relief materials under the Renewed Hope Initiative Social Investment Programme Food Outreach Scheme.

Aiyedatiwa stated, “We have already declared Ondo State for Tinubu 2027,” emphasizing the state's commitment to delivering substantial votes for the President. The food distribution initiative aims to alleviate poverty among vulnerable groups, including widows, the physically challenged, elders, and youths.

Senator Oluremi Tinubu, represented by Hajia Nana Shettima, highlighted the initiative's goal of improving access to nutritious food. The program is supported by donors providing food items monthly, with the Abdusamad Rabiu Africa Initiative contributing to the effort.

This declaration aligns with the growing political mobilization among All Progressives Congress leaders ahead of the 2027 elections.
