Ondo Governor Aiyedatiwa Backs Tinubu for 2027 Election

On Friday, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State reaffirmed the state's commitment to supporting President Bola Tinubu's re-election campaign for the 2027 presidential election. Aiyedatiwa announced the initiative “Ondo For Tinubu 2027” during a meeting with the leadership of the City Boy Movement, a pro-Tinubu political group, at his office.

The meeting was documented in a statement released on Saturday by his Chief Press Secretary, Ebenezer Adeniyan. Aiyedatiwa highlighted the accomplishments of his administration in areas such as infrastructure, job creation, and youth employment, asserting that these achievements would facilitate support for Tinubu.

He stated, “Every action we take that impacts the people positively is a vote for the president,” and emphasized that the alignment of his administration's vision with Tinubu's agenda would lead to electoral success in 2027. Oluwafemi Ayejusunle, a state coordinator of the City Boy Movement, expressed gratitude for Aiyedatiwa's leadership and pledged to enhance grassroots mobilization for Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress.
