NDC Reveals Funding Sources for 2027 Elections

The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) stated that its activities leading up to the 2027 general elections are financed through donations, levies, and contributions from members, stakeholders, and well-wishers. This announcement was made by the party's National Publicity Secretary, Osa Director, in a statement on Tuesday.

As a new political organization without elected officials, the NDC has established mechanisms to raise funds for its operations and election-related activities. The party's constitution allows for contributions from aspirants and the public to support its initiatives.

All funds are deposited into a designated party account and managed according to established protocols. Osa Director emphasized that the party's National Leader, Sen. Seriake Dickson, has not solicited or received any personal funds from aspirants.

The NDC plans to provide a full financial account in compliance with the Electoral Act and Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) guidelines. The party is focused on mobilizing resources for its operations and aims to maintain transparency in its financial practices.
