Oyebanji Urges APC Leaders to Support Tinubu for 2027

On Monday, Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji called on leaders and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to unite and mobilize support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general election. This appeal was made during an APC stakeholders’ meeting in Ado Ekiti, where an eight-member committee was formed to oversee preparations for the ward, local government, and state congresses scheduled for September.

The committee is chaired by Chief Alaba Abejide, the Chairman of the Local Government Service Commission. Oyebanji emphasized the importance of these congresses for the party's strategy in the upcoming December local government elections and the 2027 general elections.

He urged stakeholders to ensure a peaceful, transparent, and inclusive process to strengthen the APC at the grassroots level. The governor also acknowledged the party's recent victory in the June 20 governorship election and stressed the need for continued unity and commitment to secure future electoral successes.
