Oyebanji Mobilizes Ekiti APC for Tinubu's 2027 Re-election

On Monday, during an All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders’ meeting at the Government House in Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji called for unity among party leaders to support President Bola Tinubu's re-election in the 2027 general election. He established an eight-member committee, led by Chief Alaba Abejide, to oversee preparations for the party's ward, local government, and state congresses scheduled for September.

Oyebanji highlighted the significance of these congresses for the upcoming local government polls in December and the 2027 elections. He praised the party's collective efforts that led to their victory in the June 20 governorship election and stressed the need for a strong party foundation to ensure future successes.

APC State Chairman Sola Elesin congratulated Oyebanji on his re-election and urged sustained voter mobilization. Former Governor Segun Oni emphasized the importance of enhancing grassroots engagement to increase voter turnout ahead of the presidential election.
