Pantami Receives PDP Certificate for Gombe Governorship

Isa Ali Pantami, a former Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, has officially received the certificate of return from the People's Democratic Party (PDP), confirming his status as the party's gubernatorial candidate for the Gombe State governorship election scheduled for 2027. The certificate was presented to him on May 26 during a meeting of the PDP's National Executive Committee held at the party's national headquarters in Abuja.

Abdulrahman Mohammed, the PDP National Chairman, stated that the presentation of the certificate marks the official recognition of Pantami as the party's candidate for the upcoming election. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has published the names of the nominated candidates, including Pantami, as part of the electoral process for the 2027 general elections.
