APC Chieftain Threatens to Sabotage 2027 Election Victory

Sanusi Sa Adu, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bungudu Local Government Area, Zamfara State, has threatened to sabotage the party's election victory in 2027. This statement follows the defection of Zamfara State Governor Dauda Lawal to the People's Democratic Party (PDP).

In a viral video, Sa Adu expressed concerns about Lawal's governance, claiming that the governor's ineffective leadership would lead to a loss of support for President Bola Tinubu in the upcoming elections. He stated that the APC would not receive votes from Zamfara due to Lawal's actions and warned that the party's chances of winning the elections were severely weakened.

Sa Adu also mentioned the formation of a political group called "Anti-Party Activism Nigeria" aimed at educating the public about candidates for the next elections, regardless of party affiliation. He criticized Lawal for abandoning key projects and failing to support the APC during the 2023 governorship elections.
