PDP Leaders in Bauchi Plan Defection to APM for 2027

Leaders and stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Bauchi State have declared their intention to defect to the Allied Peoples Movement (APM). This announcement was made during a meeting at the Old Banquet Hall of the Bauchi State Government House, where they expressed their support for APM candidates in the upcoming 2027 elections.

The Deputy Chairman of the PDP in Bauchi State, Falalu Attah, stated that the meeting was convened to strategize and ensure that PDP members across the state support APM candidates. PDP Chairman Pharm Samaila Adamu Burga emphasized that Governor Bala Mohammed, a product of the PDP, should be supported alongside APM candidates for continuity and good governance.

He praised Mohammed's efforts in sustaining the PDP and pledged support for APM candidates for the state's growth. PDP Secretary Bakoji Aliyu Bobo mentioned that the decision was made in the best interest of the political system and that they would mobilize support for APM candidates across communities ahead of the elections.
