Kwara PDP Awards Certificates to 2027 Election Candidates

On Friday, the Kwara State chapter of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) presented certificates of return to its candidates for the 2027 general elections. The ceremony took place at the party's secretariat in Ilorin, where PDP officials handed over statutory documents from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to 24 House of Assembly candidates who emerged from the party's primaries across the state.

Olusegun Adewara, the party's public secretary, confirmed the completion of the primary election process. The event featured remarks from Isa Bawa, the state chairman, who congratulated the House of Assembly candidates and urged them to remain united as they prepare for the upcoming elections.

Bawa emphasized the importance of strengthening the party's structure and enhancing its chances of success. Former Senate President Bukola Saraki also spoke, expressing gratitude to the party leadership and pledging to support the candidates in their campaign efforts.
