PDP Zones 2027 Governorship Position to Ebonyi North

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) has officially zoned its governorship position for the upcoming 2027 elections to the Ebonyi North Senatorial District. This decision was communicated through a communiqué issued by the state chairman, Onyemaechi Nwele, following a meeting at the party's secretariat led by Zaccheau Ogbuefi.

The state executive committee emphasized the importance of equity, justice, and fairness in the zoning arrangement, which is intended to reflect the aspirations of the people in the state. The committee mandated zonal leaders to ensure that the zoning respects the established arrangements and that all aspirants adhere strictly to these guidelines to maintain peace and unity within the party.

The PDP leadership, including Kabiru Tanimu Turaki and Adolphu Wabara, has assured members of a level playing field and transparency in the upcoming primaries, reiterating their commitment to emerge victorious in the 2027 general elections.
