Galadima Claims Obi Will Win 2027 Election Amid Tinubu's Tactics

Buba Galadima, a chieftain of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), stated on Channels Television’s Politics Today that he believes Peter Obi, the NDC presidential candidate, will win the 2027 presidential election if it is conducted fairly. Galadima expressed concerns that President Bola Tinubu might announce himself as the winner, suggesting that he could manipulate the election results through government resources.

He noted that a recent national poll indicated Obi and his running mate, Rabiu Kwankwaso, were leading in four out of six geopolitical zones, while Tinubu was a distant third with no zones credited to him. Galadima criticized the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for engaging 600 professors who endorsed Tinubu, labeling this as a preparation for electoral fraud.

He urged that none of these professors should be involved in overseeing the election due to their bias.
