Adamawa SDP Candidate Christopher Nathaniel Promises Media Support

Mr. Christopher Nathaniel, the governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Adamawa state, stated that the media will be critical partners in his transformation agenda if he is elected governor. He made this assertion during an interactive session with members of the correspondents chapel of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) in Yola.

Nathaniel expressed concern over the media's current challenges, including a lack of resources and a conducive working environment. He pledged to change this narrative by incorporating the media into his administration's plans.

Additionally, Nathaniel outlined his agenda, which includes significant investments in agriculture, solid minerals, and the Guyuk cement industry. He promised a shift in agricultural policy from short-term benefits to a focus on harnessing, processing, packaging, and exporting agricultural products.

Furthermore, he committed to prioritizing education by improving infrastructure and providing incentives for teachers and students, including housing accommodations and better welfare packages.
