Uzodimma Confirms Renewed Hope Ambassadors Remain Active

On Tuesday, Governor Hope Uzodimma, the Director-General of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, stated that the organization has not been dissolved, despite the establishment of the APC Presidential Campaign Council. Speaking at an emergency meeting in Abuja, he reassured members that the group, created by President Bola Tinubu, remains distinct yet complementary to the campaign structure.

Uzodimma convened the meeting to address concerns among state coordinators regarding rumors of the group's dissolution. He reiterated that the Renewed Hope Ambassadors are tasked with communicating the government's achievements and will continue to function beyond the elections.

He described the campaign council as a temporary structure for electoral purposes, contrasting it with the enduring nature of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors. Additionally, he announced a summit for political officeholders in Nigeria, scheduled for the third week of September, to be addressed by President Tinubu and Vice President Shettima.
