ADC's Dan’iya Names Ambarura as Deputy for 2027 Election

Hon. Manir Muhammad Dan’iya, the governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Sokoto State, has announced Alhaji Bello Isah Ambarura as his running mate for the upcoming 2027 governorship election.

This announcement was made through a press statement by Malam Aminu Abdullahi Abubakar, the spokesman for the ADC governorship candidate. Dan’iya described the selection of Ambarura as a significant milestone in the ADC's preparations for the elections, expressing confidence in the party's ability to provide effective leadership.

He commended the party's leadership, elders, and stakeholders for their support of Ambarura. Dan’iya emphasized that the consensus in selecting Ambarura reflects the ADC's commitment to internal democracy and collective decision-making.

He characterized Ambarura as a seasoned administrator and accomplished legislator, highlighting his previous roles, including serving as a permanent secretary, Commissioner for Commerce and Industries, and Majority Leader of the Sokoto State House of Assembly from 2019 to 2023.
