Sowore Rates Tinubu's Administration 'F9' in Performance

Omoyele Sowore, the 2027 presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, assessed President Bola Tinubu's administration during an appearance on Channels Television’s The Morning Brief on Tuesday, giving it an "F9" grade across all parameters. Sowore criticized the administration for failures in various sectors, including security, where he stated the situation is dire, and the power sector, which he claimed has seen the national grid collapse significantly.

He also highlighted issues in education, where students are now borrowing to attend school, and healthcare, noting that even the president does not utilize Nigerian hospitals. Additionally, he pointed out that Nigeria is recognized as a country facing severe food insecurity, with the Food and Agriculture Organization indicating that food aid will be necessary in 2026.

Economically, Sowore remarked that the number of poor people in Nigeria has doubled from 70 million to 140 million over the past three years. He concluded by suggesting that if Tinubu were his student, he would advise him to leave the class, emphasizing the lack of positive outcomes from the administration.
