Tinubu Leads APC Campaign Council for 2027 Elections

President Bola Tinubu has expressed his ambition for victory in the 2027 elections, urging members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to ensure the party's success. This announcement was made through a statement by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, detailing the formation of the APC Presidential Campaign Council for the January 2027 election.

Tinubu will serve as the chairman of the council, with Vice President Kashim Shettima as vice chairman. Abdulaziz Yari, the former governor of Zamfara State, has been appointed as the Director-General of the campaign, while Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma will act as secretary.

Other notable appointments include Ajibola Bashiru and Hadiza Bala-Usman as deputy and assistant secretaries, respectively. The council also includes various deputy directors-general and zonal directors, with significant roles assigned to figures such as Adams Oshiomhole and Femi Gbajabiamila.

The media and legal directorates have also been established, with specific individuals appointed to lead these efforts.
