PDP Joins G-100 Alliance to Challenge APC in 2027 Elections

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), led by Kabiru Tanimu Turaki SAN, has joined the G-100 alliance, a coalition of opposition leaders, to create a united front against the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the upcoming 2027 general elections. This decision, announced by the PDP's National Publicity Secretary, Ini Ememobong, stems from the need to collaborate with other credible political forces to alleviate the hardships, insecurity, and poverty faced by Nigerians under the APC administration.

The inaugural G-100 alliance summit took place on Monday at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre in Abuja, gathering representatives from six opposition parties to discuss cooperative strategies. The PDP expressed its commitment to transparency, equality, and data-driven decisions in this collaborative effort, emphasizing the urgency to address the challenges posed by the Bola Tinubu-led APC government.

The party aims to build a credible leadership capable of addressing Nigeria's pressing issues through this united opposition platform.
